“aria” was a site-specific installation constructed in 2001 in the Camp Gallery of the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts in Amherst, VA. The gallery was originally a dairy barn built in the 1920's.
"aria" filled the gallery with 240 columns of Japanese rayon paper.
The columns were from 12 – 15 feet high and the barn space is 60 ft. x 30 ft. x 30 ft.
